Swedish Atlas Correction Device
AtlantoVib is the first patented device for Atlas correction that combines resonance and modulation in a single technology. Designed to deeply relax the musculature and facilitate myofascial release, it represents the ultimate evolution in Atlas treatment.
The result of over two years of development by Alfredo Lerro, in 2025 AtlantoVib X was introduced, accompanied by the autonomous vibromassage unit BalaVib, for an even more complete and effective treatment experience.
What is resonance?
Resonance is a well-known mechanical phenomenon in physics: when a body is subjected to a vibration at the right frequency, it amplifies, generating a self-oscillation of the body itself.
Every solid body has its own specific resonance frequency, which depends on its physical characteristics: the type of material, the weight, the consistency, the shape, and the dimensions.

The Relationship Between the Sarcomere and Poor Posture
The contractile unit that makes up muscle tissues is called the Sarcomere. When a muscle or an entire muscle chain remains contracted for too long, even after relaxing, the muscle fibers can no longer return to their original length.
This phenomenon is called the hysteresis cycle* and occurs during the extension of the Sarcomeres when muscle tension is prolonged over time. In practical terms, some postural muscles shorten permanently, causing structural imbalance, worsening posture, and the chronicization of pain. In physics and biomechanics, the hysteresis cycle describes a typical behavior of elastic and viscoelastic materials: when subjected to a force, they deform but do not return exactly to their original shape once the force is removed. In the graphical representation of the hysteresis cycle, the return path no longer coincides with the initial one.
Applied to the muscular system, this means that once a muscle contracture has developed, especially if it persists for a long time, even relaxing the muscle will cause it to remain shortened due to a “memory effect”. This effect prevents the muscle from returning to its original relaxed length.
Anatomical literature merely mentions hardened muscles and increased muscle tone, but rarely explores the underlying mechanisms. Even more serious is the lack of truly resolving solutions beyond common massages or muscle relaxants and anti-inflammatory drugs, whose effect is short-lived.
What Are the Benefits of Treatment With AtlantoVib ?
AtlantoVib doesn’t simply generate vibrations: it produces deep muscular resonance, achieving faster, more stable, and longer-lasting relaxation than any other treatment.
